GAME SUMMARY
Behind the hitting and pitching of Eric Dahlinger, the Road Warriors beat the Naturals 11-3. Dahlinger, the Leinenkugel Summer Shandy Player of the Game, ripped 3 hits and an RBI. He also pitched 2 scoreless innings,  allowing only 1 hit. Starter Bill Smith was sharp in his 3 innings, giving up only 2 hits while striking out 2. Reliever Dan Gebhardt struck out the side in the 4th inning, and was perfect at the plate with 2 hits and 2 walks. The game was tied at 2 in the 4th when Ron Sgarlata delivered an RBI single, then Skid Roe followed with a 2-run double to the left field fence. Lee Faugerstrom came up with a couple diamond gems at first base, saving runs with his long reach on balls in the dirt. Way to go, Lee!
